Fairy Tails

Champ is truly a champ at surviving. Champ was found tied up outside a vet clinic, shot through the mouth with his jaw shattered in two places. How Champ survived is something of a miracle and a testament to the skill and dedication of the staff at Best Friends Animal Hospital in Talent, Oregon, where he was treated for his injuries. Champ was rehabilitated at Sanctuary One and is now living the good life with his adoptive family.

Meet Helgen and Gimli!These beautiful adult Boer goats are new residence here at Sanctuary One, so they are just getting accustomed to their new surrounds and humans again. Helgen (female, 7 years old) and Gimli (male, 6 years old) were found abandoned on a piece of property, rescuers believe they were alone for about 3 years.After a intense rescue the 2 goats were taken to a horse rescue where they could be confined to a stall and receive veterinarian care. Gimli was castrated and Helgen was found to have very overgrown feet that causes her to place her front feet properly on the ground.
