Program Manager

We are hiring a full time Program Manager to run our volunteer and people/garden programming. Bilingual preferred.

A love of animals and nature is critical, although specific gardening techniques can be learned on the job. Curriculum creation experience preferred. The Program Manager runs our nonclinical animal and horticultural/garden therapy service learning programs, as well as field trips.

The position is 90% an onsite at the care farm with some virtual at home work. It is Monday-Friday 7:30-4:00pm with a half hour lunch. Benefit package includes nine holiday, paid sick and vacation time, staff development/continuing education opportunities, and a generous Health Reimbursement Account (HRA).

Pay: $20 – $25 per hour

Program Assistant

We are hiring for a brand new position: a full time Program Assistant. Spanish bilingual required. This position will be responsible for assisting several of Sanctuary One’s core programs (Public Tours, Service-Learning, and Field Trips).

The position is Tuesday-Saturday 7:30-4:00pm with a half hour lunch. Benefit package includes nine holiday, paid sick and vacation time, staff development/continuing education opportunities, and a generous Health Reimbursement Account (HRA).

Pay: $18 an hour

Office Manager

The part time Office Manager will organize and coordinate office administration and procedures, in order to ensure organizational effectiveness, efficiency and safety. The Office Manager is responsible for bookkeeping, administrative procedures, maintaining database and website, assists with development mailings, and inventory control.

Pay $15 an hour first three months, potential increase after, 16-20 hours a week. Ideal hours would be two 8 hour days on the care farm, with potential of more hours as needed.

We’re looking for a few talented and conscientious volunteer board members dedicated to the success of Sanctuary One’s Animal, Earth and People Care programs. If you’re inspired to contribute your time, thoughtfulness and leadership for a few hours a week, please email a letter of interest to info@sanctuaryone.org telling us why you’d be a good match for the Sanctuary One Board of Directors.
