Animal Care Assistant

Animal Care Manager

The full time Animal Care Manager will be responsible for overseeing the intake, care, and placement of all animals, ensuring the animals’ safety, health, and well-being, as well as a variety of other farm-related duties including working with volunteers and interns.

As part of our hiring process for our Animal Care Manager position, we require applicants to fill out a pre-application questionnaire. Please review the full job description prior to filling out our pre-application questionnaire. We seek candidates with varied direct animal care experience.

We’re looking for a few talented and conscientious volunteer board members dedicated to the success of Sanctuary One’s Animal, Earth and People Care programs. If you’re inspired to contribute your time, thoughtfulness and leadership for a few hours a week, please email a letter of interest to info@sanctuaryone.org telling us why you’d be a good match for the Sanctuary One Board of Directors. Applications will be accepted on a continuing basis throughout the year. We are especially looking for individuals with nonprofit board and/or strategic planning experience, enthusiasm for care farming and those passionate about our mission to provide a refuge for animals and a healing place for people while promoting environmental stewardship.
