Sanctuary One, in partnership with The Body Studio in Central Point, welcomes you to join us for Farm Flow, the return to our popular yoga retreat at the care farm. With over 55 acres in Oregon’s beautiful Applegate Valley, Sanctuary One provides a safe place for animals and a healing place for people while promoting environmental stewardship. During this four-hour retreat, Natalie Pennington, faculty teacher at The Body Studio, will lead you through a gentle flow yoga class followed by guided meditation with the intention to deepen your connection to nature. Yoga at the stunning grounds of Sanctuary One is the perfect channel to offer our gratitude to earth and all its creatures, while recommitting our stewardship to that which sustains us all.
The retreat will be held on Sunday, May 22, 2022 from 11am to 3pm at Sanctuary One (about a 30-minute drive from Jacksonville, OR). Lunch will be provided. All levels welcome. All proceeds benefit Sanctuary One. Enrollment is limited to 25 participants. Registration fee is $40 per person. Farm Flow shirts are available to purchase through Bonfire.
About The Body Studio:
Welcome to the new evolution of relaxation and wellness. The Body Studio’s mission is to create an intimate warm accepting environment, with an emphasis on healing our minds as much as our bodies. They offer yoga classes and meditation classes in a relaxing environment, with a tranquility room, infrared sauna, a soy candle line, essential oil line, aesthetics, and so much more to bring a sense of calmness to your life. They also offer private group sessions, and events.
About Natalie Pennington:
From the beginning, Natalie has always found her own sanctuary in the company of animals. Having grown up on a ranch, animals have been a part of her life that she holds very close to her heart. As much as the farm has become a sanctuary for rescued animals, yoga has brought enrichment into Natalie’s life and has become a home and a great refuge for her. Natalie views her time on the mat as a gift, an invaluable opportunity to draw one’s mind away from its usual concerns and simply be in the present moment. Every class is a reminder of what she loves about the practice and that yoga can truly change lives, one breath at a time.
Registration for the May event is now open! Prepayment via credit card is required. Registration fees are non-refundable. If cancellation is necessary, fees can be applied to other Sanctuary One events or converted to a tax-deductible donation.
