Sanctuary One is rooted in mutual healing of people and animals, and it is more important than ever that we prioritize mental health, healing, and connection in these unprecedented times. That’s why we are excited to announce our 3rd annual Walk and Waddle virtual walk-a-thon fundraiser. Pets across the nation are banding together with their humans to walk and waddle to sustain Southern Oregon’s only Care Farm! Starting November 15th, they are taking to the (virtual) streets to raise funds for Sanctuary One culminating on Giving Tuesday, a national day of charitable giving!

We hope you’ll join us in rallying your friends, family, and networks to support Sanctuary One in meeting our goal this Giving Tuesday. You can help by making a donation today either through the main page or on a team’s personal fundraising page, or by creating a page yourself!

Not only that, a very generous anonymous donor has stepped up and committed to matching $10,000. That means every dollar donated will be doubled! You can make twice the impact for people, animals, and the earth this Fall.

Donate or start your own donation page here!

Our Executive Director, Megan Flowers, wanted to share a story from a recent field trip."A chaperone from the class I led was a grandma of a student. In the garden I shared how our produce goes from the garden beds to someone's kitchen within 48 hours; often 24 hours. I also mentioned that the type of produce we grow was decided by surveying people's needs and requests at The Teresa McCormick Center. The chaperone mentioned her 89 year old mom filled out the survey and was so excited to receive our fresh produce. I told her that she can now go back to her mom and tell her she's seen where the produce is grown! Our garden, lovingly tended by Jess and her team, served three generations - great grandmother, grandmother, and grandchild. Small town living = wide impact."People, animals, and the earth...better together! ... See MoreSee Less
