Sanctuary One, in partnership with Southern Oregon OM in Medford, welcomes you to join us for Farm Flow, the return to our popular yoga retreat at the care farm. With over 55 acres in Oregon’s beautiful Applegate Valley, Sanctuary One provides a safe place for animals and a healing place for people while promoting environmental stewardship. During this four-hour retreat, Karyn Rankin, OM Studio Owner and Operator, will lead you through a gentle flow yoga class followed by guided meditation with the intention to deepen your connection to nature. Yoga at the stunning grounds of Sanctuary One is the perfect channel to offer our gratitude to earth and all its creatures, while recommitting our stewardship to that which sustains us all.

The retreat will be held on Sunday, May 19, 2024 from 11am to 3pm at Sanctuary One (about a 30-minute drive from Jacksonville, OR). Lunch will be provided. All levels welcome. All proceeds benefit Sanctuary One. Enrollment is limited to 25 participants. Registration fee is $60 per person. Farm Flow shirts are available to purchase through Bonfire.

About Southern Oregon Om:

The mission at Southern Oregon Om is to create a sacred and inclusive space that supports the well-being, diversity, and growth of all through yoga. We embrace all bodies and backgrounds, offering a variety of class styles to ensure everyone can find a practice that resonates with them. We prioritize safety with caring, well-trained instructors and a judgment-free environment, and we foster community through workshops and events, both in the studio and out in the community. With reverence for the ancient practice of yoga, our offerings are adapted to meet the needs of modern life, focusing on mental, emotional, and spiritual health via movement, meditation, breathwork, and more. All are loved and embraced here. Om shanti

About Karyn Rankin:

Karyn has been practicing yoga on and off since 2005, but really started cultivating her own practice with Anchorage Yoga in 2014. She received her Yoga Teacher Training Certificate through IGNITE Wellness Collective in Scottsdale, AZ and has since plunged headfirst into teaching Vinyasa, Power Vinyasa, and Restorative YogaTouch classes at S.O.OM.

She has a passion for creating an inclusive space and for empowering others to develop their own personal yoga practice, all to the backdrop of vibey playlists. She loves diving into the historical and cultural aspects of yoga and sharing the depth of Patanjali’s 8 Limbs of Yoga.

When she’s not at the studio, Karyn loves spending time with her partner and their three daughters, baking, doing anything creative and artistic, and nurturing her extensive collection of houseplants.

🐴 Maximizing Resources, Maximizing Impact! 🐴At Sanctuary One, we believe in being exceptional stewards of donor funds, ensuring that every dollar goes as far as possible to support our animals and mission. Thanks to our incredible Animal Care Director, who is always finding ways to build relationships and engage with valuable resources, we’ve unlocked BIG savings for our sanctuary!Through the Equine Welfare Data Collective (EWDC), she submits data on our care farm’s animal intake, shelter, and adoptions—earning us $300+ in savings on food and supplies! 🐎🐐🐖 Plus, EWDC enters participants into raffles, and we won another $300 coupon book—just for contributing data that supports animal welfare nationwide! 🎉💡 This is a great reminder for ALL nonprofits—amazing opportunities exist when you tap into resources that align with your mission. Collective data sharing is one of the many ways nonprofits can stretch every dollar and amplify impact.A huge shoutout to our Animal Care Director for her dedication, resourcefulness, and ability to build relationships that lead to opportunities like this! 💚🐾 ...
