Senior animals have a hard time getting adopted. Mix in illness and the odds further decline. That could have been Leo’s story if he hadn’t come to Sanctuary One. A stray senior with a progressive immune disease, Leo waited patiently for his perfect match—a special person who understood their time with Leo would be shorter and the cost of care higher. Leo found his forever home, living out his days with people who loved him.

Living Opps are a long time partner with our animal and horticultural therapy. Our friends braved the cold in December to visit the care farm. They helped not just share their love with our animals, but also helped with dog training and socialization. We're looking forward to their monthly visit next week!
