Senior animals have a hard time getting adopted. Mix in illness and the odds further decline. That could have been Leo’s story if he hadn’t come to Sanctuary One. A stray senior with a progressive immune disease, Leo waited patiently for his perfect match—a special person who understood their time with Leo would be shorter and the cost of care higher. Leo found his forever home, living out his days with people who loved him.

Mr. Johnson is a young, adorable young male dog (around 1 year old) with lots of love to give. He's an incredibly affectionate and friendly dog who will instantly make you fall in love with him. He's very loyal and gentle around everyone he meets. He can sometimes be a bit goofy, which adds to his charm!Mr. Johnson is very playful and will keep you entertained for hours.
