Champ is truly a champ at surviving. Champ was found tied up outside a vet clinic, shot through the mouth with his jaw shattered in two places. How Champ survived is something of a miracle and a testament to the skill and dedication of the staff at Best Friends Animal Hospital in Talent, Oregon, where he was treated for his injuries. Champ was rehabilitated at Sanctuary One and is now living the good life with his adoptive family.

The Jackson County Master Gardeners Association (JCMGA) donated coconut coir to community gardens who received grand funds from them last year. This will be going into our seeding mix, allowing our flats and pots to hold the moisture which will germinate and grow our veggie seedlings.
